Death in Kobe of Douglas George Young (1894-1038), proprietor of the Japan Chronicle, and a cousin of Doublas Mortimer Young, founder of the Far Eastern Advertising Agency in Shanghai. The late Mr. Young was born in Kobe and became editor of the Japan Chronical after his father died. He was in the Naval Air Arm during the War, retiring with the rank of Commander. He had never joined any journalistic body and had come East again to help is father.
