Abstract

Lists the names of four American experts, technicians and engineers, who came to Shanghai in order to join the staff of the Claude Neon Light, Fed. Inc., and to help establish the first neon light factory in the Far East:

  • Hanna, Claude, plant superintendent
  • Baldwin, Donnell, technical engineer, in charge of the Neo department
  • Gordon, John, expert in command of the tube wleding and glass blowing department
  • Mitchell, Kenneth, artist and designer of Neon equipment

All come from the West Coast of the United States. They have been part of the worldwide Claude Neon Organization for several years before coming to Shanghai.

An exact replica of the American Claude Neon factories has arrived in Shanghai in the form of machinery and equipment (before the office of the company officially opened)

Bruno Schwartz, formerly journalist and editor of the Hankow Herald, is general manager, and Lloyd E. Gale (Gale Company, Hankow) is President of the company Claude Neon Lights, Fed. Inc. in Shanghai.
