These two map show Carl Crow's local connections with clients, newspapers or publishers, associated companies or competitors, banks and audit firms, as well as places of meetings and events in Shanghai, from its founding in 1918, until its disappearance in 1937. They have been established after various sources (local press in Shanghai, Shanghai Municipal Archives, Bacon's report in 1929, Carl Crow's own writings). The first map provides a "distant" view of this network, including Crow"s main clients and artifacts in Shanghai, while the second map provides a closer view of the agency's offices, associates or competitors.
