This map shows Oriental Advertising Agency's local connections with clients, newspapers or publishers, associated companies or competitors, as well as places of meetings and events in Shanghai, from its founding in 1914 (as an specialized autonomous department derived from the Oriental Press), until its merging with Millington, Ltd in 1930. This map has been established after various sources (local press in Shanghai, Shanghai Municipal Archives, Bacon's report in 1929).
The first map provides a "distant" view of this network, including Oriental's main clients and artifacts in Shanghai. The second and thrid maps focuses on the strategic relocation of the company in 1930 aimed to bring together their offices and factories on Edward VII avenue (street names are mentioned on the third maps).
