Steamship lines are sorted by nationalities" (15p). Enclosure No.4 to report on "Shanghai as a shipping center", from J.C. Huston, American Consul, Shanghai, completed on December 20, 1930. For each line, the list includes the name of their agents, their route, the nature of service, and names of vessels.

The report also includes a list of companies writing marine insurance (only provides their names) (Enclosure 5, 2p).
