Under the banner brand of "Keda", the company offered various types of rubber shoes to Chinese readers of the Shenbao in 1949: "Bantong" boots for men 半統男靴 (bantong nanxue), "Red character" brand 紅字老牌 (hongzi laopai), and sports shoes 拉練靴鞋  (lalianxuexie).
