I beg to inform you that an electric sign has been erected overhanging the Municipal footpath at your new premises on Great Western Road and that no application for a permit has been received by this Department. I shall be obliged therefore, if you will submit a plan and make the necessary application.

Referring to your letter of Nov. 23rd, we have called the contractor's attention to the matter of permit for electric sign on our new premises at 36 Great Western Road. We regret that the permit was not obtained before starting the work but trust that application will be made by the contractor immediately.

Further to my letter of November 23rd, and your reply dated November 24th, with reference to the erection of the above mentioned sign, I beg to inform you that no application for permit or plan has yet been received by this Department. I shall be obliged if you will please have this matter attended to as soon as possible.

With reference to your letter dated December 8th, we were informed yesterday by Messrs. Andersen, Meyer & Company, Limited that plan for installation of the Electric Sign in question had been submitted for your approval and that former application for permit had been made.
