Abstract

Reports on the recently published report of the American Association of China. Explains the limited importance of the Association (ony 207 members in 1924) by the competition opposed by the US Chamber of commerce. Reports on the Association's efforts to gain new members and to bring its views before the US government in Washington, DC. The reports also describes the work of providing elief among needy American and its cooperation with the American Club and the Columbia Country Club in this field. Finally mocked the deficiency of orgnanized philanthropies among Americans in Shanghai.
