Birthday celebration for the third anniversary of the Shanghai Rotary Club. During the meeting, Rotarians took the following decisions:
- congratulating the Club for its excellent publication the Pagoda;
- continuation of the fundraising program for the American School;
- draft of a scheme for a natural history museum (upon A. de C. de Sowerby's recommendation), proposal for purchasing the French Club and to turn it for this purpose, with the help of women and other organization, and creation of a special committee
- Dr. Chung's speech in which he narrated some of his impressions of Gen. Feng Yu-Hsiang (known as the Christian General) and reported that the Chinese press had been very much struck by the rise in political world of the Church Party led by C.T. Wang, David Yui and others
