Subject to the following conditions set forth hereunder permission will be given to Messrs The Shanghai Silk Guild to utilize one section of the signboard at Jetty No. 26 on Soochow Road, West of Honan Road:

1.That the portion of the signboard leased hereunder is a space measuring 5'-2" x 9" as shown in red on the attached drawing.

2. That no portion of the sign shall be placed outside the space alloted. That the characters and other features composing the sign shall be submitted to the Commissioner of Public Works for approval and no change shall be made after approval without his written consent. 4. That the leased portion of the signboard shall be painted by the Applicants and maintained by them in good condition.

5. That this easement shall terminate and the sign shall be removed by the Public Works Department within one month of the issue of written notice to this effect by the Council to the Applicant.

6. That the easement fee shall be $5.00 (five dollards) per annum, payable in advance.
