This set of three maps shows the distribution of advertising structures according to their dimensions in Shanghai foreign settlements (1905-1943). The size standards and "slices" have been identified after two main sources:  professional handbooks (Crow, 1926, Bacon, 1929) and my own records in the Shanghai municipal archives.
