This map shows the Shanghai-based American agency Carl Crow, Inc.'s connections throughout the world from its founding in 1918 to 1939. Five types of connections appeared on this map: clients (blue dots), audit firms/banks (blue dollar symbol), associated agencies (blue stars), more informal "influence" (blue small square).

This map has been established after various inquiries by audit firms (banks), available at the Shanghai Municipal Archives. Source: SMA, Q275-1-1840-37 (77, 79, 84).
