Victim of a hold-up in 1941: Approximately $1,200 in cash and jewellery was stolen at 5.55 am on April 19, 1941, when four men, one of them armed with a pistol, gained entrance to China Advertising Agency at 263 Hankow Road, where they intimidated the inmates.
