Owing to the fact that the discontinuance of lighting at our entrance would affect our business detrimentally we enclose herewith a plan showing the proposed arrangement to replace the existing decoration, for which permission to demolish has already been obtained form your Department. If the enclosed plan meets with your approval work will not be any discontinuance, of lighting which it is our intention to avoid if possible.

With reference to your letter of today's date, regarding the signs you desire to erect on the canopy fronting your premises, I shall be obliged if you will kindly call at this office, Room 23 at your convenience.
