Sometime ago a triangular bamboo fence was placed in front of our advertising structure, located on Bubbling Well Road, west of Tifeng Road, B.C. Lot 9661. We were given to understand that this was a temporary shelter for road materials. In view of the fact that such work has been completed we request that obstruction referred to be removed.

"Fence round Council's Surplus Land. B.C. Lot 9661. Bubbling Well Road" In reply to your leter of the 23rd instant, I beg to inform you that the fence, you complain of, on B.C. Lot 9661, Bubbling Well Road, was erected in order to prevent the use of this portion of surplus land as a dumping ground for rubbish, and I am therefore, unable to comply with your request for its remocal as I do not consider that the height of the present fence obstructs the view of your advertising sign.
