Mr. Bills of the Hudford Motors has allowed us to take over the roof of No. 601/2/3 Thibet Road and to use it for advertising purpose. He referred to the telephone conversation with your goodself and stated that we do not need to apply for permission to exhibit night-advertisements on the screen that is erected on the roof.
The keep-house that was fixed on that roof was insufficiently protected from danger of fire, and to avoid any possible accidents we are compelled to rebuild the house and cover it from inside with "Everite" asbestos (amiante) cement sheets.

A temporary permit for the construction of lantern and screen was issued to the Aerial Advertising Company on the 6th December, 1921, but apparently the installation was never used. I suggest that a similar letter be sent Messrs. The Oriental Press to that to Messrs. R.F. Neugent and S.H. Coulter dated the 1st April, except that paragraph relating to the lantern and screen, as these have already been constructed to the satisfaction of this Department.

Although it may cause some crowd to collect in the roadway I recommend that the suggested advertising screen on the roof of the Hudford Garage, at the corner of Thibet Road and Avenue Edward VII, be allowed experimentally.
