Please grant permission to exhibit advertising signs for the purpose of erecting boards on the fence  in front of house No. 63  in the Avenue Road - corner Carter Road in the Western District for a period of thirty (30) days and I/we hereby undertake to comply with the following and such other conditions as may be contained in the permit granted by the Council.

With reference to your application for a permit to erect advertisement boards on the above site, I regret being unable to issue the  desired permit, owing to the residential nature of the neighbourhood.

With reference to your application of to-day's date for a permit to erect advertisement signs in front of house No. 62 Carter Road, at the corner of Carter and Avenue Roads, I regret that I am unable to issue the permit applied for, owing to the residential nature of the locality.
